Program Details

Little girl with pom pomsThis is an entry level program for younger children that want to begin to learn the skills of cheerleading in a more relaxed environment.

This program is taught by All-Star Cheerleaders that have received several national titles. Their goal for the program is to create a team environment where the participants can learn basic cheers, grow in social skills and self-esteem, and develop a knowledge of the importance of physical fitness.

Come join in the fun while increasing coordination and becoming familiar with basic cheerleading skills! Children joining in this program will be able to cheer at some sports events in Montville Township out on the fields and courts. They will also perform at our huge Halloween Party up on stage at St. Pius on Oct 28, 2017!

Instructor:  Ms. Nicolle Profeta, Certified Teacher – Early Childhood & Elementary Education/Special Education. Nicolle has been a Cheerleading Junior Coach form 2009-2011 at Montville Recreation and Cheerleading Captain at Rider University. She loves working with the children and teaching the fundamentals of cheerleading. We also have Alexa Mooney and some additional national super star cheerleaders coming to mentor and instruct!
