Pathways sports teams are a great opportunity for young children to explore and learn the rules of a multitude of sports. The golf program is one of our newest classes. We will be running the golf program at The Anchor Golf Center in Whippany. The facility has automated range tees, renovated 18 hole miniature golf course, premier golf learning center, 3000 square foot synthetic putting green, and an indoor HD golf simulator. The kids do not need to have any of their own equipment to take the class. All equipment is provided. The students will experience how to hit the golf ball, when to select varying clubs, and how to play the game in a fun and more relaxed environment.
Our golf program is for children ages 12-21 that are just beginning to learn about the game. Come join in us for lots of fun and social interaction! We are playing 9:00am -10:00am to avoid the heat!
In addition to having the professional golfers at The Anchor Golf Center, we will have students at the high school level that are real superstars at golf. Linda Tong is a rising junior at Blair Academy. She has been playing golf since the first grade. In addition to being a member of the Blair Varsity golf team, she plays competitively at the state level and has won two tournaments on the NJPGA Junior Tour last summer. We also have Ryan Carabello who goes to school at Seton Hall Prep and has been playing golf for fun and competitively for fours years. He loves the game and practices almost daily! Other mentors who are avid golfers will also be on hand to help.
