This program is for children and young adults that have experience using video cameras, have made videos of their own, and are familiar with Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premium Pro editing software.
Students in this program will use professional equipment such as DSLR and video cameras, LED lighting, audio, and green screens. The students will be helping to write, direct, and film commercials, documentaries, online video training programs, and more.
This is a great opportunity for students who are learning to video more for recreational purposes and projects.
There are more intense video classes offered through or Project Win Win classes that work more to prepare students for a career in video production.
The class is taught by Melinda Jennis who has done multiple films and music videos. She has taught the video program for Pathways for 5 years.
Students interested in more intensive video training can apply for our Project Win Win entrepreneurship program for Video Production. This program provides two video production classes per week. The second class provides more training in the use of video equipment and advanced editing software and takes place on Mondays from 5:15pm-5:45pm.
